DWTS: Week #9 – The Semifinals: The Final Four Face Off For The Finale
Rumer and Val danced a Viennese Waltz to “Earned It” by The Weekend from the soundtrack for “50 Shades Of Grey” and it was very good! It had some sensual moments, some flowing moments and some good technique. It could have had some more of the Viennese Waltz content but overall great! They scored 10,9,9,10 totalling 38.
Noah and Sharna danced a Viennese Waltz to “Time Of My Life” by David Cooke and it was very good. It had a few more Viennese components in it than Rumer’s . I felt that he danced more tonight than he has all season…but still some “stalling ” moments. They scored 9,9,9,9 totalling 36.
Riker and Allison danced a Contemporary Routine to “Work Song” by Hozier and it was Wow! I’m speechless…in a good way. He’s so talented. I haven’t seen anyone with the intense passion for music, acting and dance since Gene Kelley! Riker was definitely born in the wrong era. If they only made those types of movies again he would steal everyone’s hearts!! They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40.
Nastia and Derek (Sasha filling in) danced a Quickstep to “Feeling Good” by Christina Grimmie and it was very good. It had great content and it had speed and control. Though her frame arm was held to far behind the partner and a little mishap at the end. But overall great. They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40.
Next up is the Judges Choice….they take over creative control and can’t vote on their own couple.
Bruno chose to work with Rumer and Val. Bruno created the choreography for a Contemporary Fusion number. They danced to “Swan Lake” by Tchaikovsky and it was very good. Wow what a different concept. Nice to see what’s in Bruno’s head. Well danced. They scored 10,10,10 totalling 30.
Carrie Anne chose to work with Noah and Sharna. Carrie Anne created choreography for a Paso Doble. They danced to “Unstoppable” by E.S. Posthumous and it was very good. Carrie Anne created some great lines and put out his good side forward and he was able to be lifted a couple of times. Can you imagine the weight of the leg and what amazing abs he has to be perfectly straight. They scored 10,10,10 totalling 30.
Julianne chose to work with Riker and Allison. Julian created choreography for an Argentine Tango. They danced to “Fur Elise” by Ludwig Van Beethoven and it was absolutely amazing. He’s so fantastic. He danced amazing, he has great musicality and technique. He portrayed the part. He so talented! WOW!! They scored 10,10,10 totalling 30.
Len chose to work with Nastia and Derek. Len created choreography for a Viennese Waltz. They danced to “Fall For You” by Leela James and it was absolutely beautiful to watch. Great concept and loved to have seen Len at the end of it all. Very emotional dance. They scored 10,10,10 totalling 30.
