Dancing with the Stars: Week 8- America’s Choice

DWTS: Week #8 – America’s Choice…Song, Dance, Wardrobe, Hairstyles…also Double Elimination Tonight!

Noah and Sharna are dancing a Tango to “Geronimo” by Sheppard…America wants them to be wearing a white suit and it was ok. It was missing the express, the intensity and showmanship. It was good as it goes. They scored 8,7,8,8 totalling 31.

Chris and Whitney are dancing a Contemporary Routine to “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith…America wants to see a dark room with candles setting and it was… Hot, I got goosebumps! I loved how it made me feel. They scored 9,8,9,8 totalling 34.

Riker and Allison are dancing a Viennese Waltz to “What Now” by Rianna…America wants to see the vulnerable side to him and it was too fast and furious . There should of been some slower moments to feel the vulnerability. They scored 10,9,10,10 totalling 39.

Robert and Kim are dancing a Contemporary Routine to “Champagne Kisses” by Jessie Ware…America wants to see them kiss… And it was ok. I felt it didn’t have enough contemporary movements. But he did have an improvement from last week. They scored 8,8,9,8 totalling 33.

Nastia and Derek but really Sasha because of Derek’s injury are dancing a Paso Doble to “Centries” by Fallen Boy…America wants to see a gladiator theme…and it was very good for the most part. She danced it very well but the funny parts were not necessary. They weren’t in sync at times but I liked the concept. They scored 9,9,9,9 totalling 36.

Rumer and Val are dancing a Rumba to “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” by Doris Day…America wants to see a traditional Rumba…and it was very good. It had a mix of traditional and modern movement of rumba. It was beautiful to watch her move through the hip action and it was nice to see her grounded. They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40.

Next up… The Trio Round…

Noah and Sharna picked Emma and they danced a Salsa to “Mr. Put It Down” by Ricky Martin featuring Pitbull and it was very interesting to say the least. It had some good movements and some not so much. They scored 8,8,8,8 totalling 32.

Chris and Whitney picked Lindsay and they danced a Paso Doble to “Outside” by Calvin Harris and it was good but could of been better with a little more shaping and his bum needed to be pushed in more. They scored 7,7,8,8 totalling 30.

Riker and Allison picked Britney and they danced a Jazz Routine to “A Little Party Killed Nobody” by Fergie featuring Q-Tip and Goonrock and it was amazing. I didn’t want it to stop and I wanted to be there too. That’s a party and he was leading the routine the whole time . Loved it!!! They scored 10,9,10,10 totalling 39.

Robert and Kim picked Jenna and they danced a Samba to “Cinema Italiano” by Kate Hudson and it was interesting. I didn’t feel he moved his hips properly or had any ticking action. It was messy and it looked like he lost the choreography. They scored 7,7,8,7 totalling 29.

Nastia and Derek picked Sasha and they danced a jive to “Diane Young” by Vampire Weekend and it was an amazing concept. I liked it a lot, it had some great dancing. They were amazing. They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40.

Rumer and Val picked Artem and they danced a Paso Doble to “Scott and Fran’s Paso Doble” by David and The Bogo Pogo Orchestra and it was amazing. It was very traditional and it had amazing shaping and intensity. Loved it!!!! They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40.
