Dancing with the Stars: Week 2

DWTS lineup season 20 week 2


First up is Chris and he chose “Time Of Our Lives” from Pitbull. He and Witney danced a Cha Cha and it was ok, he had a great time dancing. He had no technique or timing but he put all he had into it and you can see he earnestly tried. Good for you Chris. Next time Witney be a little less ambitious. They scored 5,6,5,5 totaling 21.

Suzanne Somers chose “a Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On ” by Jerry Lee Lewis. Suzanne and Tony danced a Jive and it was very good for her age. Tony great choreography for her and it showcased her abilities. She was sassy and fun to watch. Need to work on hand styling and better foot work. They scored 7,7,7,7 totaling 28.

Robert chose “You Make Me Feel So Young” by Michael Bubble. Robert and Kym danced a Foxtrot and it was ok. He had a lot of stuff going wrong. His frame was too high and he didn’t finish his hands in open position. It lacked rise and fall with proper footwork. He had lots of fun dancing- I had less fun watching. They scored 7,7,7,7 totaling 28.

Charlotte chose “California Girls” from Katy Perry. Charlotte and Keo danced a Cha Cha and it was ok. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. It was a little stiff moving. She just needs to relax and flex her knees. She makes great stationary lines but needs to learn how to move in between. They scored 7,6,7,6 totaling 26.

Michael chose Working “My Way Back To You Babe” by the Spinners. Michael and Peta danced a Foxtrot and was good. He had a very good frame for week 2.  He danced so much better in frame then in side by side movements. He had pretty good footwork for his first time. Not bad at all. They scored 7,7,7,7 totaling 28.

Rumer chose “Rumour Has It” by Adele. Rumer and Val danced a Cha Cha and it was awesome. Great choreography. Her movements were sharp and quick. Need to work on more rib action, great dance. They scored 8,8,8,8 totaling 32.

RedFoo chose “My Sherona” by The Knack. RedFoo and Emma danced a Jive and it was good. He really put so much effort behind it and it showed. He had quick feet and great energy. They scored 8,7,8,8 totaling 31.

Willow chose “Somebody I Used To Know” by Gotye. Willow and Mark danced an Argentine Tango and it was interestingly different. Great dancing and great maturity in the dancing. Great lifts and really good technique. They scored 8,8,8,8 totaling 32.

Noah chose “Home Grown Honey” by Darius Rucker. Noah and Sharna danced a Samba and it was good for a man with a disability. He will never be able to dance proper footwork, but he keeps up with rhythm and can partner very well. They scored 7,6,7,7 totalling 27.

Nastia chose “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Nastia and Derek danced a Rumba and it was awesome. Great choreography! Really good start on Cuban motion. Great movement and emotion. They scored 9,8,8,9 totaling 34.

Riker chose “Sugar” by Maroon 5. Riker and Allison danced a Foxtrot and it was very good. He had good frame and great musicality. Such beautiful arms. The choreography was a little quick. His look was so amazing and his dance elegant. Loved it!! They scored 8,8,8,8 totaling 32.

Patti LaBelle chose “In The Club” by 50 Cent. Patti and Artem danced a Salsa and it was good. I wanted to see more. Great ending to the night. She shook her hinny and caused a huge uproar. They scored 7,7,7,7 totaling 28.
