Dancing with the Stars Week 8: Dynamic Duos in History

Judges tonight are Carrie Ann, Len, Julianne and Bruno.

Week 8 cast

The couple with the highest score wins immunity. Everyone else has to battle each other.

Lea and Artem chose their duo to be Bonnie and Clyde. They danced a Jazz routine to Something Bad and it was okay. I would have preferred it had more conflict in the choreography. The lines were not finished all the way and the entrance and exit to the lift were messy. They scored 8,8,8,8 totalling 32.

Lea and Artem

Michael and Emma chose Tarzan and Jane as their famous duo. They danced a Foxtrot to You will be in my Heart and it was okay. He had some good moments and some bad moments. Timing was an issue again but better than last week. He’s trying really hard. They scored 6,7,6,6 totalling 25.

Michael and Emma

Janel and Val chose Romeo and Juliet as their dynamic duo. They danced a Contemporary routine to Everybody’s Free and it was very beautiful. Beautiful lines and the execution from in and out of the lifts were effortless. She had pointed toes and good technique. They scored 10,10,10,10 totalling 40. Maybe they will get immunity?

Janel and Val

Tommy and Peta chose Johnny Cash and June Carter as their dynamic duo. They danced a Paso Doble to Ring of Fire and it was pretty good. You have to think about it, he’s trying to do the moves at two to three times the age so you can’t expect the same quality. But he is putting it out there all the time. They scored 6,7,7,6 totalling 26.

Tommy and Peta

Sadie and Mark chose Adam and Eve as their dynamic duo. They danced a Contemporary routine to Uninvited and it was very very good, I loved it a lot. They had beautiful lines with moments of love and temptation. They scored 9,9,10,10 totalling 38.

MARK BALLAS, SADIE ROBERTSON

Alfonso and Witney chose Batman and Robin as their dynamic duo. They danced a Cha Cha to Trust and it was very very good. I loved it a lot. He needed a little better foot technique. They scored 10,9,9,10 totalling 38.

Alfonso and Witney

Bethany and Derek chose Lucy and Ricky from I love Lucy. They danced a Salsa to Babalou and it was good, I expected a better salsa choreographed. There was no heat and too much of doing nothing in too many places but it had fun. They scored 9,9,9,10 totalling 37.

Bethany and Derek
