Dancing With The Stars: Week 4

Dancing With The Stars Week 4:

Candace switched up with Tony to dance a Quickstep and it was good. She needs to pull up her midsection for slightly better posture. The frame definitely improved and so did her personality during this dance. Body contact was way to far apart. But overall not bad. Judges scored 7 across the board totalling 28, with guest judge being Julianne Hough.

James switched up with Cheryl to dance a Tango and it was intense, hot and awesome all at once. Wow Cheryl you are fantastic, great choreography, great top line, great technique. These two should stay together….sorry Peta, Cheryl and James have an awesome chemistry! Judges score is 9, 8, 9 and 9 totalling 35.

Drew switched up with Witney to dance a Cha Cha and it was good. Drew really knows how to play up to the crowd. He had a few timing issues and foot technique problems but overall he had a lot of energy and came out using it all. Great effort! Judges scored him 8, 8, 9, 8 leaving them with a total of 33… What? Were we watching the same thing? How did they score Candice lower than that???

Danica switched it up with Maks to dance a Jive and it was good!  Great energy but the choreography was not the greatest, wasted time in the dance it really should have had some more Jive in it.  Judges scored 8 across the board with 32 in the end.

Charlie switched it up with Peta to dance a Rumba and it was okay, it really didn’t have any hip action, it was more of a contemporary number than a real Rumba. Yeah, Len agrees with me. And Peta, what is wrong with you?  Don’t you know what a Rumba looks like? You definitely need a few lessons for yourself. Judges scored 7, 8, 9, 9 totalling 33.

Charlie and Sharna

Amy switched it up with Mark to dance a Salsa and it was pretty good , I loved how Mark took care of her. Great hip action and Mark gave her a challenge with the choreography. She really grew this week with talent and confidence. Judges scored her 9, 8, 8, 9 totalling 34.

Cody switched it up with Sharna to dance a Foxtrot and it was okay. He danced the Foxtrot and it looked a little stiff in frame, he really needs to pull up through the centre and finish his lines. His side by side sequence was very good but needs to improve on stature, posture and top line.  Judges scored 8,7,8,8 totalling a 31.

NeNe switched it up with Derek to dance a Jazz routine and it was good, I think Derek could of given her more to do. I feel it was the same movement over and over again. They said Jazz but I guess it was supposed to be African Jazz instead. And in that case it was….just good. Not my cup if tea. Judges scored all 8s totalling 32.

Meryl switched it up with Val to dance an Argentine Tango and it was fantastic it really looked like a pro number. Val had awesome choreography . It was sharp leg action, fast and sensual….but what do you expect with a skater… She has super strength in her legs and mid section.  Judges scored her 10,9,10,10 totalling 39.
